JIPMER Exam Pattern
Jawaharlal Institute of Medical Education and Research Pondicherry conducts a computer-based entrance exam for medical UG aspirants. Based on Class 11 and 12 syllabi there will 200 multiple choice questions for JIPMER entrance exam. The duration of the test will be 150 minutes comprising of questions from PCB, Logical and Quantitative Reasoning, English Language and Comprehension. Each candidate will get +4 scores for a correct answer and -1 for an incorrect one.

Qualifying Examination

Aspirants applying for JIPMER must pass their 10+2 from CBSE/ISC/State boards or an equivalent exam with Biology/Biotechnology, English, Chemistry and Physics as their core subjects. Students appearing for their 10+2 board exam are also eligible to apply for JIPMER entrance exam.
