The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) arranges the counselling for MBBS and BDS admission in Kerala. CEE would grant admission to 100% of seats in Kerala's self-financing/private medical and dental institutes as well as 85% of state quota MBBS and BDS seats in the government. Three stages of centralised counselling are used to carry out this procedure. College admission will be given to all those who successfully complete the Kerala MBBS admission form and pass the NEET UG 2025 exam. The Kerala MBBS merit list 2025 will be released in order to do this. Kerala MBBS and BDS 2025 admission phase 1 and phase 2 allotment has already been published. However, the Kerala CEE has rescheduled phase 3 allotment and the new dates are out.

WHY WAS THE SCHEDULE CHANGED?

The main reason for the rescheduling of the Kerala MBBS admission Phase 3 was to conform to the updated timetable of the Medical Counselling Committee's (MCC) All India assignment procedure. The postponement was required in order to align the two counselling procedures and keep applicants from missing out on possibilities at the state or national level.

KEY DATES AND DEADLINES YOU MUST REMEMBER

  • The third phase counselling schedule for the State has been adjusted in accordance with the updated schedule for MBBS/BDS courses released by the MCC on October 23, 2025.
  • Until October 28, 2025, 11:59 PM, the CEE website will provide the options to confirm/delete/reschedule for MBBS/BDS courses.
  • On October 30, 2025, the provisional allocation to MBBS/BDS courses will be released, taking into account the alternatives submitted until October 28, 2025, 11:59 PM.
  • The third round's final allocation will be officially published on October 31, 2025. You may take admission based on this allocation until November 5, 2025, 4 PM.

WEIGHING ALL INDIA VS. KERALA ALLOTMENT? HERE’S WHAT TO DO

If you were assigned a seat under the All India quota, you must then officially resign from your Kerala allotment by October 22nd evening. This is more crucial, as you will be freeing up your seat for another candidate as well as you may join your All India quota college smoothly. Also, note that you will not be eligible for Kerala's stray vacancy round once you enroll in any college outside of Kerala or under the All India quota.

WHAT IF YOU DON’T GET A SEAT IN PHASE 3?

Hold on to your hope! You still have a chance even if you are not given a seat in a government or private medical institution this round. You should look for a Stray Vacancy Allotment since these will be filled following the third round, If there are any seats left.

WHAT’S NEXT? THE STRAY VACANCY ROUND

The fourth phase, or the stray vacancy round, will be used to fill any vacant seats following the closing of the third phase and final admissions by November 5th. You should be aware of the following:

  • It is scheduled for after November 5th.
  • There will be an announcement of a new option-filling procedure.
  • Lists of open seats will be made available on the MCC NIC website.
  • A thorough notification from the Kerala Entrance Commission will be sent out soon.

STAYING INFORMED AND NEXT STEPS

According to NEET 2025 standards, the complete MBBS and BDS admissions procedure for the 2025 academic year is scheduled to end by November 5th. Watch the Commission's updates and official websites closely to make sure you don't miss any important announcements.

FINAL TAKEAWAYS

  • The Phase 3 allocation results will be released on October 24th.
  • Complete the admission process by November 5th.
