This reopening is a special window for students who missed the earlier set deadline. The test date runs from February 23, 2026 afternoon to February 26, 2026 evening.

These tests are conducted in a computer - based test (CBT) mode from May 11th to 31st, 2026. The exam offers subjects in 13 languages and covers subjects such as science, commerce, arts and a general test. This re-opening is the last chance to apply, emphasizing the need for accurate submissions without further extensions
This re-opened phase does not have a correction window, unlike the initial registration phase, which had given a span of two days from 2nd to 4th for submitting corrections. It is important that candidates double-check all the details before submission, as no edits will be entertained post-submission.
Advisories have also been issued by the NTA on updating Aadhaar, disability, or category certificates before applying to avoid rejections.
The original application window was open from January 3rd to January 30th, 2026, with fee payment until January 31st and corrections until February 4th. Now it is reopened exclusively from February 23rd afternoon to February 26t, 2026, at 11:50 PM, this is confirmed via official NTA notices.
